My name is Rasya Akbar Prakoso. I am the second of three children, born and raised in Bogor on March 26, 2010, within a humble family that has always supported me in trying new things.

Since childhood, I have constantly been exposed to creativity through the movies I watch, the literature I read, and the music I listen to. I truly enjoyed those moments, but a question arose within me about how someone can create something that profoundly moves other people. This is what I now translate as Art. However, I didn't want to just be someone who merely enjoys art; I wanted to be a part of that art itself by becoming an artist.

My career as an artist began in the 2nd grade, starting as a basketball player with the ambitious dream of becoming the first NBA player from Indonesia. Every afternoon for five years, I spent my time on the court near my house. I also briefly joined a local basketball club in the Bogor area and became a school representative in junior high. My journey in the basketball world started to decline due to a fatal left arm fracture. That severe injury forced me to shift my path to the football world in the 8th grade, but the harshness of the sport made me stop after enduring it for a year.

My brightest moment as an artist actually came in a short span of time—as a chess player. In just three months, I earned numerous awards and certificates, such as 2nd place in the Bogor U15 chess tournament. Yet, just as my name began to rise, I decided to quit because of my own idealism. In my perspective, chess was no longer about creativity but about memorization. A world-class Grandmaster could easily be defeated simply by a smartphone. That realization is what made me stop playing chess, as it contradicted my core values as an artist.

My new journey continues as a musician. Actually, I have been playing music since the 7th grade and started developing an interest in songwriting, but I truly focused on the music world when I reached the 10th grade. My friends invited me to form a band called Mbuy, where I initially played as the drummer and have now transitioned into the role of bassist.

Reflecting on my growth in the tech world, I realized that being an artist today requires skills related to technology. It is no longer like the old days when an artist only poured their ideas onto canvas, books, or CDs. Now, there are countless mediums for us as artists to channel our creativity in digital forms. Because of this, I chose to enroll in a vocational high school (SMK), majoring in Software Engineering.
